Indian Army Recruitment drive will see over 32,000 aspirants

A massive open recruitment drive will be organized by the Indian Army at the Ambala Cantonment from 22nd June to 2nd July 2017.

This recruitment drive will be conducted by the Army on a district as well as tehsil level.

This recruitment camp is being conducted on the grounds of the MM University in Mulana.

With this drive in mind, the Indian Army along with the district administration and the local police have completed all the necessary preparations. Col. V.S. Sankhla, the recruitment director, said that over 32,000 aspirants had filled up their applications online in order to participate in this recruitment camp.

He said that a recruitment drive for the posts of soldier (regular cadre), Sainik store keeper, and tradesman will be conducted on 22nd June for applicants from Panchkula, Chandigarh, and Ambala tehsil. The rest of the schedule is as follows:

• Applicants from Barada and Narayangarh tehsil will be tested on 23rd June,
• Applicants from Kaithal tehsil on will be tested on 24th June,
• Applicants from Kalayat, Pundari and Guhla tehsil will be tested on 25th June
• Applicants from Nilokhedi, Gharounda and Asandh will be tested on 27th June
• Applicants from Karnal and Indri tehsil along with those from Chachloli and Radour in Yamunanagar district will be tested on 28th June.
• Applicants from Bilaspur and Jagadhari tehsil of Yamunagar district will be tested on 29th June
• Applicants from all tehsils in Kurukshetra district will be tested on 1st July

The Indian Army has said that applicants must not have any kind of tattoos on their body. In case they do, they must remove them before reporting for the recruitment camp.

Applicants are requested to clean their ears thoroughly before the camp. Owing to changes in the medical procedures, applicants with dirt or hair in their ears cannot be administered their physical and medical tests. For those applying for the post of army stenographer must have successfully cleared their 12th standard exams with a minimum of 60% marks. Along with that, in order to be eligible, they must have scored a minimum of 50% in maths as well as English.
