YES! i am the CHANGE (YIAC) is a program launched by the Yes Foundation in 2013. It is a mindset transformation program that encourages responsible citizenship amongst the youth with the help of films. It was also called the world’s largest social film movement in the year 2015. As a part of the YIAC 101-Hour Social Filmmaking Challenge, contestants create a 3 minute short film on a social issue in 101 hours of the contest. The one with the best movie comes out as the winner of a huge prize money of Rs 85 Lakhs.
The winner will receive Prize worth Rs 85 Lakhs and Movie will be showcased in the Film Festival in Mumbai in order to spread social awareness about the related issues.
To take part in the competition, first fill the registration form online before date. Foundation will inform you about more through mails after that.
You have to fill the form online and you can add as many member you want in the team. You can also take part in various challenges at the same time. Click here for the whole registration procedure.
They have various challenges in which they have made sure that each and every individual in this world can take part in the contest.
You will receive the topic of film on the morning of challenge at 6 am. You have to select a topic, complete the movie and upload it in 101 hours.
Complete your movie with credits at the end and beginning and upload it on YouTube as well as the YIAC website’s submission page. For more details on submission, click here.
