Do you feel bored while travelling by train, here’s a spicy news for you from Indian Railways. They are planning to offer movies, TV shows and many more facilities of entertainment for its passengers…. Yes, you heard it right, “We all can be entertained now in trains”.
If you are zealous about TV, Movies or Songs, you need not to worry about such missing your favourites while boarding on trains now. The Indian Railways dragging closer to providing enjoyment straightly to your personal gadgets like- laptops, tablets, mobile phones, while you are travelling on a train or waiting for the train at a railway station.
How Suresh Prabhu’s Social Experiment Is Reforming The Railways The ministry of railways ‘Mr. Suresh Prabhu’ is all set to summon advance for rail radio services and CoD (Content on Demand) will be provided to the travelers from April, 17.
The CoD leadership will involve streaming video content like Movies, Songs, TV shows, etc. as prescribed by the passengers. Other than this service, passengers will also be getting electronic newspaper, educational content and gaming facilities.
According to the official board of railway, in earlier days the music system was introduced in some of the selected trains which include Rajdhani Express on various routes. But it did not pursue because of certain issues. Now, the railway is anxious to provide a Live TV facility on running trains for the enjoyment of the passengers while having long journey.
Railway Minister ‘Suresh Prabhu’ has introduced the non-fare revenue policy this year. According to him, the new facility will also help the management team of the railways to keep an eye on the criminals through CCTV cameras.
