We all know how infrastructure has been keeping our sports stars away from becoming champions. Some of them, accept the situation and move on but some, decide to fight and take what they need. After all, you have to get what you want to be what you want to be.
Sakshi Tinwari, a girl from Navi Mumbai heard that PM Modi will address letters in radio show Mann ki Baat. She got an idea and decided to write him a letter on her own.
She wrote in the letter that her school lacks in infrastructure and space to provide a playground. Her school is situated in the suburbs of Navi Mumbai and is located in a restricted area. She showed PM interest in becoming a sports person and making India proud at the Olympics. She also expressed her struggle for infrastructure that is stopping from doing what she want.

In a very quick response, PMO wrote back to her and promised to fulfill her wish. PM Modi allotted a place near her school for playground and asked the authorities to start working on it. Sakshi said “I got an instant response from the PMO. Just the way girls are winning India Olympic medals, I want to win for the country too”, NDTV reported.
Now CIDCO is taking steps to build that playground and to make it a place where students can practice sports and play safely.
